Thanks for your interest! Ohio Citizens Firearms Training Academy is owned and privately operated by a recently retired police officer with 29 years service with the Cleveland Police Department. This highly experienced firearms instructor, certified through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission, has trained and re-certified thousands of police officers and certified numerous citizens for concealed handgun carry. He is committed to training you to become a confident, law abiding citizen who can make proper decisions and take legal action in a deadly force encounter.

The Concealed Handgun License Certification, Basic Pistol Training and Advanced Shooting Course live fire classes are held at Grays Armory, located at 1234 Bolivar Road in the center of downtown Cleveland and is easily accessible by all Interstates in Northeast Ohio. The initial ten hour classroom portion of the Concealed Handgun License Certification class is held at the Tyler Village Complex, 3615 Superior Avenue, Suite 3103A.  For specific information on each class, please go to the Course Description page and click on the class you are interested in.

Due to the importance of the subject matter, each class size is kept to a minimum to maintain a good instructor to student ratio, unlike other assembly line type of firearm training companies.
