George Smetana has been a police officer with the Cleveland Division of Police for over 27 years. As a member of the Tactical Training Team, one of his current assignments involves training and re-certifying police officers in the use of firearms and Deadly Force. He has received Expert ratings on his marksmanship skills on numerous occasions.

He also served six and one-half years active duty with the US Army, six years of which were with military law enforcement.

George has been involved in situations where Deadly Force had to be used. During the class, you will not only receive instructions mandated by the State of Ohio, but uniquely, you will also receive information as what to expect before, during and after a Deadly Force encounter. This cannot be taught by a text book, this can only be taught by actual life experiences!
