ADVANCED SHOOTING COURSE |
|
In a Deadly Force Encounter, individuals must be able to react and defend themselves in a way that most people have never experienced. Practicing techniques in basic marksmanship such as stance, breathing, sight alignment, gun and trigger control and other aspects of target shooting are important to anyone who wants to become proficient in basic shooting skills, however, this type of training does not prepare one for the skills required to appropriately and confidently react to a true deadly force attack. The ADVANCED SHOOTING COURSE was designed to provide training and practical hands-on application to those shooters who want to practice in a realistic setting after receiving their Concealed Carry License or have gone through the training and received their certificate to apply for a license. This three hour course, with a six (6) person limit per class, will include Confrontation Preparation, Shooting from the Holster, Close Quarter Shooting, Barricade Shooting, Point Shooting (shooting without normal sight alignment), Move and Shoot (forward and backward & side to side), and Rapid Reloading with either a magazine or speed loader. There will be no classroom training during this class, only actual shooting drills. This class will be instructed by an active duty Cleveland Police Officer certified by the State of Ohio as a Firearms Instructor in semi-automatic pistol, revolver and shotgun. For the past eight years, this instructor has trained basic police recruits and regular active duty police officers. He is an avid competitive shooter and has placed and won matches in multiple states including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvania and is a Police Pistol Combat Master Class Shooter.
THIS CLASS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO EXPERIENCE A DIFFERENT AND REALISTIC TYPE OF SHOOTING
